Heroes of Faith on the Pioneer Trails$8.00Short biographical challenging look at 10 missionaries lives.

Dr. Eugene Myers Harrison lived a life dedicated to the propagation of the gospel to the ends of the earth, having spent time as a missionary to the people of Burma. As a distinguished scholar, teacher, pastor and crusader for evangelical Christian missions, Dr. Harrison has handled the stories of the selected missionaries with great insight, providing unique understanding and the central ideal and Scriptural text which governed each of these choice servants of Christ.
As you take up this book and begin reading you will be challenged and encouraged in your own service to the LORD as you follow the lives of David Brainerd, William Carey, Henry Martyn, Robert Morrison, Adoniram Judson, John Williams, Robert Moffatt, David Livingstone, Hudson Taylor and John G. Paton. Dr. Harrison uses a favourite text of Scripture for each missionary as the central theme of their lives, their calling and ministry.
There are many biographies and accounts already in print which go into greater detail in dealing with the lives of each of these great men, but none which will bring out the very heart of each of them in such clarity and feeling in such a short account. You will feel as though you have glimpsed their very hearts in just a short period of time. Don’t think of this work as duplication of facts already known, but rather an extension of their stories as seen through the spiritual insight of Dr. Harrison.
After reading the accounts of the trials and tribulations of these men and how they faced it with their faith in their God and His promises, you just may be challenged to follow in their footsteps and see your own faith increased. -

John E. Vassar, served his Saviour faithfully for almost thirty years traveling as a book seller for the American Tract Society during the mid 1800’s. As he traveled he developed into a powerful personal witness for Christ. Known by many as “Uncle John” he was a tremendous prayer-warrior and extremely effective in personal evangelism, as well as a great encouragement to the many churches and pastors he visited from coast to coast. Many pastors would ask him to preach for them, but his pleasant reply was always, “Oh, no! I am not a pastor, but only a shepherd’s dog, ready to run after the lost sheep, and try to bring them home to the Shepherd.”
Allow two well known preachers of the past to give a summary of the man. First, Charles H. Spurgeon had this to say in the Sword & Trowel: “In every special mission he undertook, Uncle John more than justified the designation by which he was known, ‘The Shepherd’s Dog.’ There was a reflex in fluence attending his labours. If, as the shepherd’s dog, he went forth and brought home the wandering sheep, the pastors were stirred up to care for them in the fold. If he endeavoured to raise the churches to a higher spirit uality, he left them with a quickened desire, and the fixed resolution to copy an example so Christ-like.”
Billy Sunday, in his message entitled, He That Winneth Souls Is Wise had this to say of the man: “John Vassar was one of the greatest personal workers of the nineteenth century. He never preached a sermon but that he did personal work. He was a wonder.”
This book is a must-read for both pastors and church members. Anyone would be challenged by this man’s faithful life and selfless ministry! Of this man it could truly be said, “. . .he being dead yet speaketh.” -

Born in Tennessee in 1830, James Hall Brookes was the son of a Presbyterian pastor and church planter. His father passed away when James was just three years of age. He saved his money, and although he was approved to attend West Point, Brookes surrendered to preach the gospel and headed off to prepare for the ministry at Princeton in New Jersey. He worked his way through school, met his wife Susan, and went off to his first pastorate in Dayton, Ohio.
James Brookes pastored for 39 years in the same city of St. Louis, built a strong church and stood for the truth. He preached around the country, and for years headed up the fabled Niagara Conferences that historians recognize as being the forerunner of the Fundamentalist movement in America. He was also convinced of the Pre-millennial coming of Christ, during a time when very few people held to such a view. This view was not drawn from the teachings of any man, but by a careful study of the Scriptures, especially from the prophets and all the New Testament books. It was the Bible that was his teacher, guided by the Holy Spirit.
Dr. Brookes considered himself a Bible-believer and spent considerable time and money defending the Authorized Version. He resisted the English revision committee and proved himself ahead of his time in venerating the King James and warning about the coming confusion concerning translations. In his magazine, The Truth and Testimony of Jesus Christ, Dr. Brookes freely exposed the errors of modernism, compromise and clergy unbelief. He gained both a cherished following world wide and astonishing opposition. An author of Several books and between 250 to 300 tracts and pamphlets, Dr. Brookes continued to publish the Truth until the time of his death—on Easter Sunday, April 18, 1897. -

WITH CHART by CYRIL H. MASKREY former Apostolic Pastor
"I have read with interest the following pages in which Mr. Cyril H. Maskrey makes a valuable contribution to the vexed subject of the place of “Tongues” and “Heal ing” in the Church today.
The author has special qualifications for writing thus, having been associated with the Pentecostal Movement from his conversion in Glasgow in 1928 until 1943, when his eyes were opened to some of the errors in its doctrines and constitution. As an “apostle” and full time minister in the Apostolic Church, he had a unique opportunity to study the Movement from the inside, and his statements accordingly have a weight which is lack ing in those of writers whose experience has been only from without. The tone of these chapters is kindly, and there is no attack on personalities, for the author’s resignation from the Movement was on doctrinal and not on personal grounds.
To anyone who is sincerely seeking light from Scripture on these subjects, this book cannot but be helpful." J. Oswald Sanders -
The Word of God on Trial$3.00Can we believe God? Do we really have God's preserved Word?

Can we believe God? Do we really have God's preserved word? Is there an absolute authority upon which our faith can rest? These questions make our study together one of the most explosive issues of our generation.
In the realm of human relationships, a man's name is no better than his word. In the divine realm. God has magnified His Word even above His name. “... For thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” (Psalm 138:2). Man may be as good as his word, but God must have a preserved word which is perfect like His person. We dare not have a Bible which merely contains the Word of God. We must have a Bible which is the Word of God from cover to cover.
Today, God’s Word is on trial. A handful of intelligentsia* over the span of one century has altered the traditional Greek text* of the churches which was considered by faith perfect for 1800 years. These men have produced three different revised Greek texts which together have 2,165 Greek words removed, 335 Greek words substituted and 215 Greek words added to the traditional Greek text of the churches. These 3 revised Greek texts have been the basis for most of the 100 or more different translations* and paraphrases* of the New Testament produced in our generation. -
What Happened to the Doctrine of Bible Faith$7.00A look at the Doctrine of Bible Faith.

In his “Lectures on Bible Faith,” Mr. John Krinke challenges fundamental Baptist churches to return to simple trust in God’s Words. Because a need was felt to share this material with those who cannot attend the lectures, Mr. Vince Londini was asked to craft these lectures into written form.
Their goal is to define and illustrate Bible Faith. Together, they demonstrate the deterioration of Christian trust in the Words of God and fundamentalism’s acculturation to humanist ways of thinking. They relate these observations to several hot issues in Fundamental circles today including: Bible Origin and Preservation, and Apologetics. They conclude by challenging Bible believers to simply and plainly believe The Bible and reject any humanistic filters foisted upon the vital exercise of Bible interpretation! -
A Closer Look at the Evidence$10.00Is there Evidence for God? Why not take a closer look?

About this Book
The primary purpose of this book is to help people understand what makes Christianity so trustworthy. Many books are available on the scientific evidence for creation, but most are difficult to share due to the technical nature of the subject matter. This book is written to be enjoyed as a daily devotional, but can also serve as an easy-to-read resource on the physical evidence that our Creator exists.
God’s desire is that the knowledge of what He has done through both the cross and creation is for everyone. We must not keep this knowledge to ourselves. The evidence that He is our Creator is so overwhelming and encouraging that it desperately needs to be shared in the world today. A Closer Look at the Evidence is designed to be an affordable resource to both reinforce our individual faith and facilitate sharing the reasons for this faith. Consider praying about how God could use you to utilize the truths found within these pages.
Each page summarizes interesting facts about God and/or creation. The reader is encouraged to find more extensive and detailed information through the sources listed at the bottom of each page. Occasionally the source is quoted directly, but more often the material is summarized.
Because this book contains much scientific evidence supporting the reality of creation, it is possible that some of the more speculative conclusions could change over time. It is not the intent of the authors or publisher to distort or mislead in any way. Therefore, we will correct any confirmed technical errors in subsequent printings. If you find any technical errors, please contact the publisher at SearchfortheTruth.net. -
Bible Truth Vol. 1 The World, The Flesh, The Devil$6.00The enemies of the Christian are "The World, The Flesh and The Devil", this will help you know how to win over them.

It is a matter of fact that we are all individuals and we are unique in many ways. Our personality, our tastes, our preferences, our genetic code, and even our fingerprints are all different. It is also a fact that no two individuals in the world are identical in every respect. For example, many years ago I worked as manager of the carpet department in a large retail store. One of my responsibilities was to be sure we had samples on hand for every one of the 1440 colors available at the time. The company I worked for knew it was necessary to have such a wide variety, because no two customers have exactly the same taste in color, type and texture. They were determined to have something for every prospective buyer.
Being a Christian does not erase our uniqueness and individuality. It is true that we have changed kingdoms, lifestyles, masters, destinies, etc., but we are still unique in our personality, tastes, and preferences. Perhaps that is the reason a pastor cannot please everyone in his church. The truth is, God cannot please everyone.
Even though, in so many ways, we are distinctive and different, we must realize according to the Scriptures, we do have some things in common. For instance, we have a common salvation. “Beloved when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation….” (Jude V:3). Common, by definition, means, “shared by many or all.” This means every born-again Christian has the same salvation experience. Also, the Bible teaches that we have a common faith, “Titus, mine own son after the common faith….” (Titus 1:4). There is not one faith for Americans and another for the people of another part of the world. In addition, we have common temptations that must be overcome. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man….” (I Corinthians 10:13).
The subject I am leading up to is this—the born -again believer has three enemies that are common to every Christian. These enemies are the world, the flesh, and the Devil. These are formidable foes that cannot be taken lightly. These are foes that have brought down many great men like Samson, Saul, David, and Solomon, as well as some great men of God that possibly you yourself have known. These are foes that have the potential of destroying your life personally, your marriage, your children, your testimony for Christ, and even your church and nation. You can and must win over these enemies. This book identifies the world, the flesh, and the Devil as our three great enemies and is designed to help the serious Christian know how to win over them.
I challenge you not only to read this book, but also to determine in your heart that with the help of God, you will never take these enemies for granted. -
Bible Truth Vol. 2 Heaven and Hell$6.00Heaven and Hell are real places, and we need to know as much as possible about them.

When it comes to the subjects of Heaven and Hell, most people are interested and will give their attention. As a pastor for nineteen years, I had numerous opportunities to visit seriously ill and dying people in the hospital. Many times, I visited with families during viewing times at funeral parlors, and later conducted funeral services for their departed loved ones. One thing that seemed to be on the minds of those left behind, more than anything else, was the hereafter. Not only did I hear it in their discussions, I could see it in their faces. This was especially obvious when they walked by the coffin of one they had personally known, but now that one had gone “the way of all the Earth.”
Given the fact that life here is temporary at best, it is only logical that life after death must be a matter of great concern. Job is a good illustration; he realized that his life was short, and made reference to the brevity of it many times. No doubt, because of this, Job had prepared for the inevitable day of his departure.
Depending entirely on our knowledge or lack thereof of God’s Word on the subjects of Heaven and Hell and our response to it, the hereafter can be a terror to us or it can be a comfort and consolation. It is my desire that the information in this book will enable the reader to find scriptural answers to the many questions and concerns regarding these subjects
Several reasons could be submitted for writing such a book as this, but I will limit myself to the following:
First, there is the fact that Heaven and Hell are real places, and we need to know as much as possible about them.
Second, there is the fact that every living, breathing individual on Earth knows in his heart that Heaven and Hell are real, and he must deal with this fact. I realize there are many who profess to be atheists or agnostics, and even boast about the idea that there is no God, no Heaven, and no Hell. However, God has made it clear in His Word that they know but are obviously rebelling against this knowledge. (Romans 1:19-20)
Good examples of this truth are the testimonies of three prominent infidels of yesteryear; Thomas Paine, Bob Ingersol, and Sir Frances Newport. These men spent a great deal of their lives trying to convince large audiences that there is no God, there is no hereafter, and man is accountable only to himself. However, when it came time to look into the dark corridor of death, these men, without exception, recanted and acknowledged there is a God, that the Bible is true after all, and then hysterically screamed their way into a Christless eternity. This was also true of the French infidel, Voltaire. It was reported that when he felt the stroke that he knew would end his life, he immediately sent for the priest so that he could be reconciled to the church. Even though his infidel flatterers rushed to his bedside to encourage him, he would not be comforted. He cursed them, ran them from his room, and accused them of bringing him to his present condition. He even went so far as to make a written recantation of his foolish infidelity and sign it in the presence of witnesses, hoping it would comfort his heart. For the last two months of his life, he was tortured with such agony, that he would gnash his teeth in rage against God and man. Then he would soften and cry out, “O Christ! O Lord Jesus!” He would find no peace, and then he would cry out, “I must die-abandoned of God and of men!” His associates would not come near his bed, but carefully guarded the door lest anyone hear the agony of a dying infidel. His nurse repeatedly announced that for all the wealth of Europe she would never see another infidel die.
Third, even though we do not know all there is to know about Heaven and Hell, it is a fact that God has left us with much information on these subjects in the only reliable document there is—His infallible Word. All we can ever know about these subjects, while in this life, is contained in the pages of God’s Holy Word.
In this book, I have tried to pull together the fundamental Bible truths about Heaven, so that the believer can be encouraged concerning his final home, as well as be comforted about his loved ones who have already gone to the other side. And, as unpleasant as the subject is, I have also endeavored to pull together Bible truths that reveal what Hell is going to be like for those who reject Christ and end up there. No doubt, many readers will be surprised to find that our Bible has volumes of information concerning both places. -
Bible Truth Vol. 3 Backsliding and Chastening$6.00Christians do not hear much about "Backsliding and Chastening" today, this book takes a look at both and how they are connected.

Many reasons could be submitted for the writing of this book, but only one is needed. We live in a day when the definition of “Christian” has come to mean so much and therefore, in effect, mean so little, that Christians are not any longer held to the high standards set forth in the Word of God. Because of this, many Christians fall into a backslidden condition and potentially must experience chastening.
That Christians do not hear much preaching on the twin subjects of backsliding and chastening goes without saying. This is particularly true in churches where no negative subjects are permitted. Since these subjects are mentioned so little, it is my desire and prayer that this book will gain wide exposure and be read and appreciated by many.
It would be wonderful if everyone who names the name of Christ would live a victorious Christian life and never backslide or need to be chastened. Reality, however, teaches us that such is not the case. Because many Christians do backslide, and in many cases neglect to get it right, chastening enters the picture. The Word of God makes it clear that as an earthly father chastens his disobedient son, our Father in Heaven also chastens His disobedient sons. It is true that when a Christian recognizes his condition, repents, and claims God’s promise of forgiveness, no chastening follows. However, if he does not correct his way, our Father in Heaven has no choice but to bring about this correction through chastening.
Because the above subjects are so closely connected, it is necessary to include both in this book. Every Christian needs to live cognizant of the sobering truth that backsliding, when not corrected, is followed by chastening. -
Bible Truth Vol. 4 Submission and Rebellion$6.00It seems that anything that expresses rebellion is the in thing in today's world, see what God says in His Word.

Surely there are no two subjects that need to be discussed in these days more than the contrasting ones of submission and rebellion.
Rebellion is in evidence in every sector of our society. Children are being influenced to rebel in many ways, through their entertainment, their education, their clothing and even their toys just to name a few. Teenagers who listen to rock music are continuously encouraged to question their parent’s values and rebel against any form of authority. University students literally live and learn in an environment of rebellion. Housewives, especially young ones are encouraged to rebel against the authority of their husbands.
To be more specific some examples of rebellion are long hair on young men and extremely short hair on young women; Expensive designer clothes worn inside out with the label showing; Faded jeans hanging so low they just barely stay up and young men and even young women with tattoos on every visible part of their body.
It seems that anything that expresses rebellion is the in thing in today’s world.
It appears that our entire society has removed from its vocabulary the word submission and has replaced it with the word rebellion.
The main reason for the lack of submission we see around us is that we live in a post Christian era. Our society has very little knowledge of God or the Bible. This is true because America’s parents have failed to pass on to their children a Godly heritage. The youth of our day know about computers, sports and sports figures, Hollywood stars and the things of this world but know practically nothing of the God of the Bible. Many cannot name one single prophet or apostle.
In this book I have tried as thoroughly as possible to discuss both the above subjects. I have tried to emphasize why they are so vitally important to our personal well-being as well as to the very survival of our society and nation as we know it. It must be said that freedom cannot co-exist with open rebellion. When the citizens of a nation cease to be in submission to the God ordained authorities that He has placed in their lives, then restraints (laws) must be passed to keep them in check. Surely we are aware of the fact that every time a new law must be passed some of our freedom is taken away. A great American statesman of yesteryear said; “men that will not govern themselves from within must be governed from without.” -
Bible Truth on Salvation$6.00A look at Salvation and what Gods says about it for gaining entrance to Heaven.

There are basically two reasons that I have written this booklet.
First, there is the appalling ignorance prevalent in our society about this most important of all subjects, the matter of how to know God and have eternal life in heaven rather than hell.
The truth is it should not be necessary in our religiously enlightened society to write a booklet like this. Our nation has had so much preaching and teaching from the Word of God it would appear that no one should be ignorant of this subject. America has had more light than any nation on earth and maybe any nation in history. It should be that even the unsaved could answer this question about what is involved in salvation and knowing Christ as personal Saviour.
However that is not the case. I am constantly amazed at how much ignorance there is in our society about the matter of salvation. I surmise that in any typical city you could approach a dozen different people with the question of what one must do to be saved and conceivably get a dozen different responses. That ought not to be case but it is.
The other reason is that I have had many people stop at my book table and ask me for something they could give to an unsaved loved one, something that is specifically prepared to inform them of what is involved in knowing Christ as their Saviour.
For these reasons I have prepared this booklet and have tried to anticipate the main questions that an unsaved individual would want answered and have included them in the following pages. -

Me Salí!
